Passive Transform on the PICRAT grid: Passive row, Transform columnCIPRAT Passive Transform

Year 13 are preparing for exam questions on the moral and ethical issues raised by artificial intelligence in OCR's A Level Computer Science. The teacher runs Copilot on the board from her school account and works through a prepared sequence: the same open question asked in five fresh chats, a question whose answer is in the class textbook, and a request for sources, whose links she opens on screen to see whether they say what Copilot claimed. Students do not touch the tool; they fill in an observation table recording which wording changed, which facts held steady, and where a confident answer did not match the source. The teacher then explains that the model predicts likely next tokens from probabilities, which accounts for both the variation and the confident errors, and students end by drafting two points for an essay on automated decision-making. Nothing personal is typed into the tool, and every claim shown is checked on screen before the class discusses it.
