The teacher posts a six-mark question on the control of blood glucose from a past A-level biology paper, two anonymised answers (one strong, one weak) and the published mark scheme for it. Each student posts one inference to a class Padlet about why the mark scheme rewards what it does, for example that a hormone seems to earn credit when the answer says where it acts, not when it is named on its own. The teacher groups the posts live into themes such as precise terminology, sequence and linking cause to effect, then asks students to test each theme against a second question. Students end by writing three revision rules for six-mark questions, drawn from the grouped wall.
