Each student writes a two-line brief for a fictional product brand, for example a trainer made from recycled fishing nets, and designs a logo for it in Canva using shapes, lines and type. They then lay out one sheet showing the logo at three sizes (a shoe tag, a website header and a billboard), in three colour treatments and in single-colour black for stamping or laser engraving. The teacher checks each sheet against the brief and for legibility at the smallest size. Students finish with two sentences explaining how the mark suits the brand's values.
