Year 10 have learned the non-contact slap under the department's stage-combat safety rules: the hand passes in front of the face, the partner turns the head with the line of the swing, and a clap hidden from the audience, the knap, makes the sound. Pairs perform it for the class while the teacher films on two school tablets in slow-motion mode, one from the audience's position and one from the side. Replayed on the board at an eighth of the speed, the side view shows the safe gap between hand and face, and the audience view shows whether the head turn, the knap and the swing arrive together; at full speed nobody can see which part is out of time. The teacher controls the replays and names what each clip shows, and the class notes the timing points before pairs return to rehearsal. The clips stay on the school drive, are not shared beyond the class and are deleted at the end of the unit.
