Each student writes a 150-word persuasive paragraph under their own heading in one shared class Google Doc, arguing for a climate action they want the school to take, such as a meat-free day in the canteen or solar panels on the sports hall. After 25 minutes the teacher displays three named reviewers for every writer, and each reviewer adds a comment using a fixed frame: one rhetorical strength, one weakness and one suggested rewrite of a sentence. In the last 15 minutes writers revise their paragraph in response and resolve each comment once they have acted on it. The teacher opens version history on two paragraphs to show the class how the drafts changed between the first and second versions.
