The teacher shares the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) with a short note on why Jews and Samaritans of the time were hostile to each other. Each student posts their own-words interpretation of what the parable teaches about who counts as a neighbour. As posts arrive, the teacher drags them into sections such as 'help everyone', 'help your enemies' and 'actions matter more than status', then shows how Christian teaching has read the parable. The task is about the text, and students are not asked about their own beliefs. They end by writing one sentence on which interpretation the parable supports most strongly, with a quotation.
