During the term's studio sessions each student sets a school tablet on a stand and records time-lapse clips of their hands and work in progress, never faces. Over three lessons they build a Google Sites portfolio with a page per piece: photographs of the finished work, the time-lapse clip, a recorded commentary of about 200 words embedded from Google Drive explaining intentions and choices, and links to the artists who influenced them, such as Hundertwasser or Kehinde Wiley. The site is shared within the school domain only, and the teacher gives feedback within the exam board's rules on guidance for assessed work. Students use the commentaries to check that each page shows how their ideas developed from one piece to the next.
