Each pair plans a four-episode series in French on themes from the course, such as contemporary francophone music, French cinema and life online, pitched so a confident Year 9 learner can follow. Over four lessons, in Soundtrap for Education where the teacher manages the class group, the pair records a two-voice dialogue for each four-minute episode, adds a music bed from Soundtrap's loops, cuts retakes and writes a glossary of ten key words. Episodes and glossaries go on a Padlet wall set to school login, and Year 9 classes listen during a lesson. Each pair then writes a 300-word commentary in French on the language and production choices they made for a younger audience.
